Overview
During my time as a product designer at Trivago, I worked on several initiatives with the content squad. The squad focused on providing high-quality, easily accessible content for hotel searchers on the website, as well as customizing the search experience. The main challenge with each improvement was ensuring that the information was simple and easy to understand while avoiding distortion.
What I did
Based on the product's goals, I improved the feedback, preferences, and review components used on the website and mobile app. I also created reusable components and patterns for use within trivago's design system.
Outcome
I introduced new patterns and components that are currently being implemented on the platform, such as images on survey items and badge components. These changes are expected to increase survey completion and content engagement. I also ensured legal compliance and economical copywriting to streamline the implementation process.
